Elicera Therapeutics secures patent approval for ELC-401 in China
The China National Intellectual Property Administration has granted a notice of allowance for Elicera Therapeutics' ELC-401, a CAR T-cell candidate for glioblastoma.

The China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) has issued a notice of allowance for Elicera Therapeutics' patent application regarding the ELC-401 CAR T-cell therapy candidate. The patent, which covers the treatment of glioblastoma, extends protection until 2041.
This approval strengthens the company's intellectual property position in one of the world's largest pharmaceutical markets. Elicera has previously secured similar patent allowances in the United States and Japan, establishing a global footprint for its therapeutic candidate.
The securing of these patents is central to Elicera's strategy for developing and commercializing its cell therapy platform.
