Elon Musk Denies Report on SpaceX AI Phone Prototype
Elon Musk has called a Wall Street Journal report claiming SpaceX showed investors an AI phone prototype "utterly false."

Elon Musk has vehemently denied a report by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) alleging that SpaceX had presented a smartphone-like prototype to investors. Musk stated on Wednesday that the report was "utterly false."
The WSJ report claimed the device was "slimmer than an iPhone" and would run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. It also suggested the phone would feature its own AI-enabled operating system, drawing capabilities from SpaceX's sister company, xAI.
This denial follows recent speculation surrounding SpaceX's potential diversification. Last week, the Financial Times reported that SpaceX COO Gwynne Shotwell had discussed company plans with investors, adding to the intrigue around the space-focused company's broader business ambitions.
