Elon Musk No Longer a Trillionaire
Elon Musk has fallen from trillionaire status following a sell-off of SpaceX stock, with his net worth now estimated at just over $850 billion.

Elon Musk is no longer listed as a trillionaire after a recent investor sell-off of SpaceX stock caused his personal valuation to decline. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index now estimates the tech mogul's net worth at just over $850 billion.
This marks a significant drop from his peak valuation shortly after the SpaceX initial public offering (IPO), which first propelled him into trillionaire territory. Despite the decrease, Musk remains the world's wealthiest individual, with his net worth more than double that of the next highest-valued person, Google's Larry Page, who is valued at $316 billion.
To reclaim trillionaire status, Musk would need to increase his net worth by approximately $150 billion. This escalation would likely require a rebound in SpaceX's share price. Market data indicates that SpaceX shares have fallen about 16 percent since the IPO and 10 percent in the last five days alone.
Musk's financial holdings have also been affected by a recent decline in Tesla shares, which are down over 11 percent year-to-date. However, SpaceX's market capitalization of $1.8 trillion still surpasses Tesla's $1.5 trillion, and Musk's ownership stake in SpaceX is estimated to be substantially larger than his stake in Tesla.
