Embraer names FACC AG Supplier of the Year
Aircraft manufacturer Embraer has awarded FACC AG its "Supplier of the Year" award for 2010. This marks the second consecutive year FACC has received the recognition.
Austrian aerospace component manufacturer FACC AG has once again been honored by Embraer with the "Supplier of the Year" award for 2010. This is the second year in a row the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer has recognized FACC.
The award specifically acknowledges FACC's performance in quality, flexibility, delivery reliability, customer support, and development within the "Interior" category. The award ceremony took place in mid-November during Embraer's Supplier Conference in São José dos Campos, Brazil.
FACC has been a supplier to Embraer since 2006. Initial orders included various interior components for the Phenom 100, Phenom 300, and Lineage 1000 executive jets. In 2008, Embraer awarded FACC the contract for the development and manufacture of complete passenger cabins for the Legacy 450 and Legacy 500 executive jet models.
Embraer's "Supplier of the Year" award recognizes the progress of its top suppliers in terms of improved quality and efficiency, as well as flexibility, delivery reliability, customer support, and innovation.
