ENA Partners Expand Trauma Nursing Education Access in Australia
The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) has established new education partnerships to increase access to its Trauma Nursing Core Course for healthcare providers in Australia.

The Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) has expanded access to its Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) in Australia through partnerships with Advanced Life Support Training (ALST) and Coast Resuscitation Group. These organizations will offer the TNCC to nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare providers.
The TNCC aims to equip nurses and paramedics with a systematic approach to trauma assessment and management, intended to improve patient outcomes. The course focuses on fundamentals of nursing assessment, relevant pathophysiology, prioritization, and interventions to build confidence in caring for trauma patients.
ALST and Coast Resuscitation Group will represent ENA and share information about the TNCC at the Australia and New Zealand Trauma Society's annual Trauma Conference in Sydney on October 16-17. These collaborations aim to meet a demand for nurse-specific trauma education within Australia.
ENA launched the TNCC in 1986, and over 70,000 nurses have completed the program globally. The current ninth edition provides evidence-based, standardized education designed to enhance the competency of trauma nurses and ensure quality patient care.
