Enerando Provides Companies with Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Solutions
German company Enerando offers tailored solutions for businesses to build electric vehicle charging infrastructure, combining smart AC wallboxes and software technology.

BERLIN – Companies looking to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations for employees or customers can utilize the energy infrastructure solutions offered by German firm Enerando. The company focuses on integrating smart AC wallboxes with advanced software to meet specific corporate charging needs.
As of early 2024, Germany registered approximately 1.4 million fully electric vehicles. Experts forecast this number to surge to as many as 10 million by 2030. This growth necessitates a significant expansion of charging infrastructure; the current count of around 108,000 public charging points is insufficient for future demand, which is projected to require up to 843,000 points by 2030.
Businesses may provide charging stations for several reasons: to maintain their own EV fleets, to attract or retain employees in a competitive labor market, or as part of a marketing strategy to enhance customer loyalty. Enerando's offerings focus on AC charging, which is particularly suitable for locations where vehicles are parked for extended periods, such as workplaces or hotels.
While DC fast charging offers quicker charging times, especially along major transport routes, AC charging via wallbox technology provides charging capacities of up to 22 kW. This is sufficient to charge most EVs to a usable level within a few hours. Enerando's approach aims to provide businesses with flexible and cost-effective energy solutions to support the transition to electric mobility.
