Energenesis Biomedical and Taiwan Tanabe Seiyaku have initiated a joint development program focused on supporting process technology transfer and chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC) preparation for a potential new drug application (NDA) in Taiwan.
The agreement also outlines plans to evaluate subsequent manufacturing and commercialization licensing opportunities. This collaboration aims to advance the development and production of ENERGI-F703DFU for the Taiwanese market.
ENERGI-F703DFU is a compound developed by Energenesis Biomedical, currently being studied for its potential in treating patients with diabetes and its complications. Taiwan Tanabe Seiyaku brings expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing and regulatory affairs within Taiwan to the partnership.
The joint effort intends to ensure the high-quality production of the compound and meet the requirements set by Taiwan's drug regulatory authorities. Successful execution of this agreement could facilitate the introduction of a new therapeutic option for patients in Taiwan.
