Enfinity Global reaches 535 MW of operational solar capacity in Italy

Renewable energy firm Enfinity Global announced on July 14, 2026, that it has achieved 535 megawatts (MW) of operational solar capacity in Italy. This milestone was reportedly reached in just three years. The operational capacity is expected to generate nearly 1 terawatt-hour (TWh) of renewable energy annually, which is equivalent to the power consumption of approximately 350,000 Italian households.

The 18 solar photovoltaic plants are situated in the Lazio and Emilia-Romagna regions. Enfinity Global stated that these facilities are projected to prevent the annual emission of approximately 290,904 tons of CO2e. This expansion in Italy aims to address the country's growing electricity demand and support its decarbonization objectives.

According to the company, Enfinity Global is now the second-largest operator in Italy by authorized solar capacity, having surpassed 1 gigawatt (GW). The company is also developing around 600 MW of battery energy storage systems (BESS), as part of its broader 9.1 GW project portfolio.

The growth of its Italian portfolio has been supported by over EUR 1 billion in investment, attracted through the company's expertise in capital structuring and project finance.
