Enfinity Global Surpasses 500 MW of Solar Capacity in Operation in Italy
Renewable energy company Enfinity Global has reached 535 MW of operational solar capacity in Italy, adding nearly 1 TWh annually and reducing significant CO2 emissions.

Enfinity Global has achieved 535 megawatts (MW) of operational solar power capacity in Italy, the company announced. The clean energy firm stated that this milestone was reached within three years, significantly boosting the country's renewable energy output.
The 18 active photovoltaic plants are situated in the Lazio and Emilia-Romagna regions. These facilities are projected to generate nearly 1 terawatt-hour (TWh) of renewable energy each year. This output is equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of approximately 350,000 households and is expected to avoid 290,904 tons of CO2e emissions annually.
Enfinity Global reports it is the second-largest operator in Italy by permitted solar capacity, having surpassed 1 GW. The company is also expanding its presence in energy storage, with approximately 600 MW of battery energy storage systems (BESS) permitted. This is part of a broader 9.1 GW project pipeline.
The growth of the Italian portfolio is supported by the company's expertise in capital structuring and project financing, which has facilitated over 1 billion euros in investment for the portfolio.
