Enginsight Launches SIEM for German Small and Medium-sized Businesses

Jena, Germany – Enginsight, a developer of cybersecurity solutions, has introduced a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system specifically tailored for German small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This new SIEM solution is designed to complement Enginsight's existing all-in-one security platform.

SIEM systems are designed to collect, monitor, and analyze security events and data from various sources into a unified view. This capability assists organizations in better identifying and responding to potential cyber threats. Enginsight states that its new SIEM is built for straightforward implementation and management, aiming to reduce the typically high costs associated with deploying and maintaining traditional SIEM solutions.

"It was a logical next step to consolidate this information into a SIEM system," said Mario Jandeck, CEO of Enginsight. He emphasized that the system helps companies organize and analyze their security data more effectively to proactively address threats. The solution is particularly recommended for companies operating within critical infrastructure sectors where SIEM usage is often mandatory.

Enginsight aims to differentiate itself by offering simplicity and features specifically suited to the needs of SMEs. The implementation process is facilitated by the system's ability to integrate data from sources such as Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), File Integrity Monitoring (FIM), and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR). It also supports the integration of external data sources like firewalls and Azure AD.

The company has announced plans for continued development of the SIEM system, including the addition of new templates and filters to address the evolving threat landscape. Future enhancements are also planned, such as advanced features for analyzing encrypted network traffic directly at the endpoint.
