Enginsight Outlines 2026 Development Roadmap
Enginsight has announced its 2026 development roadmap, focusing on user requirements, enhanced security features, and operational simplification.

Cybersecurity firm Enginsight has detailed its development roadmap for 2026. The company plans to prioritize user needs in the first half of the year, aiming to deepen security functionalities and simplify operations within complex infrastructures.
Key updates include expanded CVE detection, integrating additional data from CVE Numbering Authorities for more timely and precise vulnerability assessments. An Environmental Score will also be introduced to evaluate the criticality of vulnerabilities based on specific IT environments, improving risk management, particularly in heterogeneous setups.
Network security will be enhanced with TLS interception capabilities for the Intrusion Detection System, allowing analysis of encrypted traffic. The agent's attack surface will be reduced through Privilege Dropping, limiting the rights of the Enginsight Agent Pulsar post-startup. For air-gapped systems, an alternative update path will be provided.
The installation process is being simplified and optimized for large infrastructures to facilitate deployment and reduce operational overhead. Managed Streams will accelerate SIEM implementation by offering predefined configurations for essential log data. Full IPv6 support will enable comprehensive scanning and analysis of IPv6 networks.
The Alarm UI is being modernized for a more intuitive and efficient alarm management experience. Quality assurance measures include cross-organizational settings import/export, improved documentation, and expanded testing procedures. The overall objective is a more secure, scalable, and high-quality cybersecurity platform.
