Enginsight raises €6 million to bolster SME cybersecurity

German cybersecurity provider Enginsight has announced the successful closure of a new funding round, raising €6 million. The round was led by UVC Partners, with co-investments from seed+speed, bm‑t beteiligungsmanagement thüringen GmbH, Brandenburg VENTURES GmbH, Smart Infrastructure Ventures, and Talanx AG.

The capital infusion aims to intensify Enginsight's mission to protect German SMEs from the growing threat of cyberattacks. SMEs, which constitute 99.4 percent of the German economy, are particularly vulnerable due to a lack of resources and expertise to combat increasingly complex digital threats. Cyberattacks caused €203 billion in damages in Germany in 2022, highlighting the critical need for robust security solutions.

"Our goal is to relieve IT managers in SMEs and provide them with the necessary transparency and control over their networks," said Mario Jandeck, co-founder and CEO of Enginsight. The company's platform offers a comprehensive approach combining attack detection, prevention, and automated response, enabling proactive defense.

With this new funding, Enginsight plans to expand its market leadership in the DACH region and establish an international presence. Key initiatives include targeted branding campaigns, sales expansion, and the development of new partnerships, alongside continuous software enhancement to optimize protection for SMEs.
