Jena, Germany – Enginsight, a German provider of an all-in-one cybersecurity platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), has secured €6 million in a new funding round. The investment was led by UVC Partners, with participation from Carsten Maschmeyer's seed+speed fund, bm-t beteiligungsmanagement thüringen GmbH, Brandenburg VENTURES GmbH, Smart Infrastructure Ventures, and Talanx AG.

The capital injection is intended to strengthen the company's capacity to protect German SMEs against escalating cyber threats. According to the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), cyberattacks caused approximately €203 billion in damages in Germany in 2022. SMEs are identified as particularly vulnerable due to limited resources and a lack of specialized cybersecurity expertise.

Enginsight's platform integrates threat detection, monitoring, and automated vulnerability management, aiming to offer robust yet accessible protection tailored for SMEs. CEO Mario Jandeck stated, "Our goal is to ease the burden on IT managers in SMEs and provide them with the transparency and control they need over their networks."

The company plans to utilize the new funding to expand its market leadership in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and to initiate international expansion. Investments will also focus on growing the sales team and developing new partnerships.
