Engströms increases production by 30% with new crushers and service agreement
Swedish Engströms group boosted production by 30% with an investment in new mobile crushers and a five-year service contract.

The Swedish Engströms group has increased its production capacity by 30% following an investment in two new mobile crushers from Metso and the signing of a long-term service agreement. This investment in new equipment supports the company's goal of expanding its services to become a one-stop-shop for the construction industry.
The company integrated Metso's Lokotrack® LT120™ and Lokotrack® LT300HP™ mobile crushers into its fleet in late 2016. Concurrently, Engströms entered into a five-year Life Cycle Service (LCS) agreement with Metso. This comprehensive service contract covers wear and spare parts, along with scheduled maintenance inspections, ensuring maximum equipment uptime and proactive upkeep.
The LCS agreement also incorporates Metso Metrics Services, a cloud-based tool providing real-time operational monitoring. Engströms can track machine operating hours, load, idle time, maintenance needs, fuel consumption, and GPS location. This capability allows for efficient management of the production process and predictive maintenance of wear parts.
Engströms, one of Sweden's largest companies in the construction equipment sector for road and building industries, has been a Metso customer since 2002. The company provides contract crushing services and aims to meet diverse customer requirements with a wide range of materials and sizes.
