NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Technology firm Enigmata has emerged from stealth mode, announcing $6.5 million in seed funding. The round, led by Blockchange Ventures, provides the company with resources to develop its technology that allows artificial intelligence to run directly on encrypted data at production speeds.

The company's Enigmata Cipher solution aims to address a key challenge in AI adoption: the protection of sensitive data. Traditionally, training AI models requires access to clear, unencrypted data, creating significant security and privacy risks. Enigmata's technology claims to permit AI models to operate directly on top of encrypted data, potentially unlocking a vast amount of previously inaccessible information for AI applications.

In addition to lead investor Blockchange Ventures, the funding round included participation from M13 and Kima Ventures. The capital infusion is earmarked for further technological development and team expansion, particularly in research and development.

Enigmata's stated goal is to turn protected data into fuel for AI without the original information ever needing to be decrypted. This could open new avenues in sectors such as finance, healthcare, and other industries that handle highly sensitive information.
