Enterprise AI Shifts to Execution Phase, CompTIA Research Finds

Organizations are increasingly moving from AI experimentation to practical deployment, according to new research from CompTIA. Nearly 60 percent of businesses now prioritize integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into their technology stack.

The research indicates that this shift to production-level use has exposed significant gaps in workforce readiness, governance structures, and data preparedness. These challenges are hindering the widespread adoption and effective utilization of AI solutions.

"Organizations have moved from an experimental phase to a truly strategic approach to AI," stated CompTIA's research director in the press release. "The focus has shifted from what AI could do, to how it can actually make AI work in business."

The identified readiness gaps necessitate continued investment from companies in training, process clarification, and strengthening data infrastructure. Businesses must address these bottlenecks to ensure they can fully leverage the benefits of AI.
