Enverus Acquires TGS's A2D Well Log Library to Enhance Energy Data Workflows

Energy intelligence firm Enverus announced its acquisition of the A2D well log library from TGS. This move integrates the world's largest commercial well log database into Enverus's platform, significantly expanding its subsurface data capabilities.

The acquired library includes depth-calibrated logs, LAS files, formation tops, petrophysical data, and proprietary coverage across major U.S. basins. Enverus stated that integrating this data will enhance subsurface understanding and connect it directly to energy decision-making workflows.

The company anticipates that the expanded data set will enable more accurate geoanalysis, improving the efficiency of resource exploration and development. This acquisition is expected to help energy companies optimize oil and gas production and other energy projects.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Enverus continues to focus on enhancing its data solutions for the energy sector.
