Envision Energy and ju:niz Energy Deploy 140.6 MWh Battery Storage in Germany

Munich, Germany – Envision Energy, a green technology company, and ju:niz Energy have successfully commissioned their initial Gen-8 battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Germany. These new facilities collectively add 140.6 megawatt-hours (MWh) of storage capacity to the German power grid.

The deployments are intended to support Germany's transition to renewable energy sources by stabilizing the electricity grid. The BESS units will help manage the intermittent nature of wind and solar power generation and can provide rapid response services to maintain grid reliability.

This rollout marks a significant step for Envision Energy's further expansion in the European market, according to company statements. The integration of Gen-8 technology aims to accelerate the shift towards sustainable energy infrastructure.

ju:niz Energy will manage the operations and maintenance of the storage systems. The partnership is expected to enhance Germany's energy security and contribute to its climate objectives.
