Envision Energy Launches New 8 MW Onshore Wind Turbine
Envision Energy has introduced the Model T - EN175/8.0 onshore wind turbine, designed to enhance energy generation and reduce lifecycle costs.

Envision Energy unveiled its new Model T - EN175/8.0 onshore wind turbine at WindEnergy Hamburg in September 2026. This 8-megawatt class intelligent turbine features a 175-meter rotor diameter and is engineered for sites with moderate wind speeds and challenging operating conditions.
The new turbine builds upon Envision Energy's established Model T platform, which has seen over 4,000 units ordered. The EN175/8.0 integrates the company's sixth-generation quiet aerodynamics, in-house developed key components, and AI-driven autonomous optimization, utilizing Envision's Tianji Weather Foundation Model and Dubhe Energy Foundation Model.
"The next generation of wind power is not just about making turbines bigger; it's about making them smarter, more reliable, and more valuable across their entire lifecycle," stated Lou Yimin, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Envision Energy. "With the Model T - EN175/8.0, we are combining proven platform technology with AI-driven autonomous optimization to help customers generate more energy, operate more efficiently, and create higher value at the plant level."
The turbine's 175-meter rotor and 8.0 MW rated power are designed to increase energy yield in moderate wind conditions. Envision's vertically integrated approach to designing and manufacturing key components, including blades, gearboxes, and generators, aims to reduce lifecycle costs. The turbine also features new-generation quiet blades and serrated trailing edges to minimize noise.
