Envision Energy Recognized on Fortune's 'Change the World 2026' List

SHANGHAI – September 29, 2026 – Green technology company Envision Energy has been named to Fortune's 'Change the World 2026' list, marking its third appearance on the annual ranking that highlights companies tackling global social and environmental challenges.

The recognition is for Envision's "Mission Gobi" initiative, which explores a new model for integrating energy and IT infrastructure for the AI era. Fortune highlighted how the convergence of AI and green energy can support the next generation of AI infrastructure, particularly in resource-rich renewable areas.

The "Mission Gobi" initiative aims to develop 5 GW of green computing capacity in global desert and arid regions by 2030, leveraging abundant wind and solar power. Its first flagship project, the Envision Galaxy Campus in Inner Mongolia, is designed for over 2 GW of computing capacity, capable of supporting up to one million chips simultaneously. This project investigates how areas previously constrained by energy limitations or isolation can become new hubs for energy abundance and AI infrastructure.
