Envision Energy's TG Pro Wind Turbine Achieves DNV Type Certification

Envision Energy announced on September 28, 2026, that it has secured type certification from DNV for its TG Pro wind turbine (EN-206/8.35 60 Hz). This milestone, achieved at WindEnergy Hamburg 2026, validates the technical maturity and market readiness of Envision's next-generation wind turbine platform.

The certification was presented by Mette Redanz, Vice President of DNV's Renewables Certification, and Yimin Lou, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Envision Energy. Since its launch in 2024, the TG Pro turbine has garnered numerous orders in China and internationally. It utilizes Envision's TG Pro platform, integrating high-performance architecture, optimized aerodynamics, and intelligent control technologies.

The TG Pro platform is designed for long-term reliability and to withstand demanding operating conditions. Its validation process included comprehensive component testing, digital twin simulations, and prototype deployment across multiple locations. DNV's type certification serves as independent verification that the turbine's design meets applicable certification requirements.

Yimin Lou stated that the independent certification further confirms the platform's maturity and readiness to serve customers in diverse international markets. Envision Energy aims to continue developing smart, high-efficiency, and reliable turbine technologies for future energy systems.

Additionally, Envision showcased its EN-156/5.0 MW wind turbine at the event, which received a provisional type certificate from Bureau Veritas. This model is developed for the Asia-Pacific region and is being deployed in Sri Lanka as part of the Manar wind power project, Envision's first utility-scale turbine order in the country.
