"River City Girls 2," developed by WayForward, was initially released on December 15, 2022. The game continues its predecessor's style with comic-book-like storytelling and 16-bit pixel art, offering players a new dose of action and narrative.
"I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream," originally released by Cyberdreams in 1995, is based on Harlan Ellison's short story of the same name. The game plunges players into a post-apocalyptic setting where five cursed individuals are held captive by a malevolent AI. Players must navigate the characters' dark pasts and confront their deepest fears.
Epic Games' weekly free game giveaways are a regular part of its strategy to attract and retain users in the competitive PC game storefront market. For the following week, the platform announced that "Nova Lands," a world-building and management game, and "Tattoo Tycoon," a simulation game, will be offered for free.
