Epidemic Sound Integrates AI Studio into Adobe Premiere Pro, Enhances Adapt Feature
Epidemic Sound has launched its AI-powered Studio tool directly within Adobe Premiere Pro and added Stems functionality to its Adapt customization service.

Epidemic Sound has released significant updates to its digital audio toolkit, integrating its AI-powered Studio tool directly into Adobe Premiere Pro and enhancing its Adapt service with Stems functionality. The developments aim to streamline video soundtrack creation and offer finer control over music customization.
The Studio integration allows video editors to generate AI-created soundtrack drafts within Premiere Pro, eliminating the need to upload videos to a separate website. Users can select video segments within the plugin to automatically receive synced music, sound effects, and transitions, drastically speeding up the initial sound design process. The output is designed to be downloaded and synced directly to the Premiere Pro timeline.
Adapt, Epidemic Sound's tool for customizing tracks based on mood, length, and genre, has been updated to include Stems. This feature provides granular control, allowing users to modify individual instrument layers such as drums, bass, and melody. Users can mute, adjust volumes, or test different combinations of these stems to tailor music to their specific needs.
Epidemic Sound maintains that its AI tools are developed in collaboration with artists and are intended to augment human creativity. The company reports significant annual payments to artists through an adaptive soundtrack bonus when their music is used in adapted forms. The Stems feature in Adapt was released in November 2025, followed by the Studio plugin for Premiere Pro in December 2025.
Both the Studio plugin for Premiere Pro and the Stems feature within Adapt are available to users through Epidemic Sound's online platform, with enterprise clients able to access Adapt via their customer success managers.
