Epidemic Sound introduces feature to clear client videos from copyright claims
Epidemic Sound has launched "Clearing Invitations," a new feature allowing Pro plan subscribers to protect their clients' published videos from copyright claims.

Music licensing company Epidemic Sound has introduced "Clearing Invitations," a new feature designed to simplify the process of clearing videos for clients of its Pro plan subscribers. The tool aims to shield users and their clients from potential copyright claims.
The "Clearing Invitations" feature allows Pro plan subscribers to send a unique link to their clients. Through this link, clients can then specify which of their published videos use Epidemic Sound's music. Once submitted, Epidemic Sound's system automatically handles the licensing for these videos, removing the need for manual checks and reducing the possibility of errors.
This functionality is particularly aimed at scenarios where Epidemic Sound subscribers are providing content for their own clients. Previously, subscribers had to manually ensure all client videos were correctly licensed. The new feature automates aspects of this verification process, allowing subscribers to track the clearance status through their account.
Each invitation link can be used to clear up to five videos and remains valid for 30 days from its creation. Epidemic Sound positions this update as part of its ongoing effort to provide a secure and user-friendly music licensing solution for businesses and content creators.
