Epidemic Sound launches Sync to Video feature

Epidemic Sound, a provider of royalty-free music, has launched a new feature called Sync to Video. This update enables content creators to synchronize their video files with any audio track or sound effect directly within the Epidemic Sound player.

The new tool aims to streamline the workflow by eliminating the need to download and import audio files into editing software solely for previewing purposes. Users can now browse Epidemic Sound's extensive audio library and see in real-time how a selected track matches their video. The feature is designed to make finding the perfect soundtrack quicker and easier.

To use the Sync to Video functionality, users must be logged into their account. While a track is playing, users can click the video player icon located on the far right of the player bar. From there, a video file can be selected from the device either by browsing or drag-and-drop. The option to trim the audio track to a specific segment of the video is also available.

Users can choose whether the video always plays from the beginning when a new track is selected, or they can toggle this feature off in the settings. Additionally, it is possible to mute or unmute the original video's sound to focus solely on the synchronization of the new audio track.
