Epidemic Sound Updates Offer New Workflow Tools for Creators

Epidemic Sound, a provider of royalty-free music, has introduced a series of updates designed to make music and sound discovery more efficient for content creators. The new features focus on improving workflow and usability, including enhanced search functionalities and deeper track customization.

A key update is the "Soundmatch" feature, which allows users to find music similar to a reference track by inputting an artist name, song title, or Spotify link. The system then suggests comparable tracks, significantly reducing search time. Additionally, the "Create versions" capability enables users to adjust track length, create seamless loops, and select specific song sections, offering greater control over the final soundtrack.

The company has also improved navigation within tracks using "Segments." This feature breaks down songs into distinct musical sections, such as choruses or bridges, allowing creators to quickly locate and utilize precise parts of a composition.

Furthermore, Epidemic Sound has deepened its integration with professional editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, and DaVinci Resolve. These plugins allow users to browse, preview, and edit music directly within their editing suites, eliminating the need to switch between applications. Bulk actions for managing multiple tracks and offline playback capabilities have also been added.

These updates aim to enhance the user experience for content creators by providing more intuitive and powerful tools for sourcing and manipulating audio content, reinforcing Epidemic Sound's position in the creator economy.
