Epiroc Appoints Two New Members to Group Management

Epiroc AB, a provider of productivity and sustainability solutions for the mining and infrastructure industries, announced changes to its Group Management. Ulrika Areskog Lilja will join as Senior Vice President Brand & Communications, effective November 2, 2026. Katarina Nilsson will assume the role of Senior Vice President People & Leadership, starting September 1, 2026.

Both appointees will become members of Epiroc's Group Management. They will succeed Nadim Penser, who is retiring after nearly 35 years with the company. Penser previously held the position of Senior Vice President Brand & Communications and Human Resources.

Areskog Lilja brings extensive experience from leadership roles in brand and communications at large global companies, including a recent tenure as Head of Brand, Marketing and Communications at SEB, and prior roles at Stora Enso and SSAB. Nilsson currently serves as the Vice President People, Leadership & SHEQ for Epiroc’s Underground division and joined the group in 2023. Her background includes executive roles in legal and human resources at international corporations, with a decade spent working in China.

These appointments will expand Epiroc's Group Management team from six to seven members. The company focuses on providing innovative equipment and services to mining and infrastructure sectors.
