Epiroc expands manufacturing facility for hydraulic attachments in Sweden

Epiroc AB has inaugurated an expanded manufacturing facility for hydraulic attachment tools in Kalmar, Sweden. The expansion is part of a strategy to consolidate the company's European production of hydraulic attachments in Sweden, aiming for a stronger and more efficient operation.

The new, over 8,000 square meter facility is a highly automated and scalable production hub. It will produce the full range of hydraulic breakers, from the smallest SB 52 to the largest HB 10,000 models. These tools are attached to excavators and used by customers globally in construction, demolition, quarrying, mining, and infrastructure projects.

The expansion significantly increases the facility's production capacity. Approximately 175 people work at the Kalmar site, with around 40 new employees added due to the expansion. Epiroc states the investment will strengthen its market position and improve customer service.
