Epiroc outlines resilient growth strategy to investors

Epiroc, a global productivity partner for the mining and construction industries, is holding a Capital Markets Day (CMD) for investors, analysts, and financial media in Las Vegas. The event coincides with MINExpo International, the world's largest mining industry exhibition.

The purpose of the CMD is to provide an update on Epiroc's positioning for profitable growth that is resilient and recurring in a changing global landscape. The company is emphasizing its strong foundation, built on a solid culture and a commitment to sustainability. Epiroc is also highlighting its focus on attractive market niches with structural growth potential, including its exposure to the mining and infrastructure sectors.

Key presentations will cover innovation, including Epiroc's market-leading position in safety solutions and mixed fleet automation. Its OEM-agnostic automation solutions currently cover approximately 3,100 vehicles worldwide, a 29% increase since its last CMD in June 2023. The company is also showcasing its advanced digitalization and electrification solutions, with around 600 electric vehicles in operation and electrification solutions accounting for about 4% of group revenues.

Epiroc aims for continued profitable growth in its aftermarket services, focusing on strengthening customer relationships through service agreements and enhanced technological expertise. The Digital Solutions division reported revenues of SEK 2.4 billion in the last twelve months ending June 30, 2024. The company reaffirmed its financial targets and anticipates sustained high demand in the mining sector, while expecting weak demand from construction customers in the near term.
