Epiroc reports 22 percent profit growth in third quarter
Mining equipment manufacturer Epiroc saw its third-quarter profit rise to 3.4 billion SEK as demand from mining customers reached 83 percent of total orders.
Epiroc recorded revenue of 16.8 billion SEK for the third quarter of 2026, a 10 percent increase compared to the previous year. Orders received rose 15 percent to 17.5 billion SEK, with organic growth in equipment orders reaching 16 percent. CEO Helena Hedblom attributed the strong performance to high mining demand and efficiency gains across the organization.
Operating profit reached 3.4 billion SEK, yielding an operating margin of 20.3 percent. While revenue and orders trended upward, operating cash flow decreased to 1.4 billion SEK, which the company linked to higher inventory levels following a strong period of equipment orders.
The company continues to invest in its global manufacturing footprint, including the completion of a modernized hydraulic attachment facility in Kalmar, Sweden, and the expansion of production capabilities in India. Management anticipates that demand from the mining sector will remain high, while infrastructure demand is expected to maintain its current stability.
