Epiroc restructures leadership and consolidates business units
Epiroc will transition to a two-business-area structure in September 2025, reducing its group management size to streamline decision-making.
Epiroc announced an organizational overhaul on August 6, 2025, aimed at simplifying its management structure. Effective September 1, the company will organize its operations into two distinct business areas: Equipment & Service and Tools & Attachments.
Under the new configuration, division presidents will report directly to the newly appointed business area leaders rather than the CEO. This consolidation reduces the size of the company's executive group management team from 13 members to six. The move follows a period of rapid expansion since the company's 2018 IPO, during which it integrated over 30 acquisitions.
Jess Kindler has been appointed president of Equipment & Service, and José Manuel Sánchez will serve as president of Tools & Attachments. Both executives bring decades of experience within the mining and infrastructure sectors to their new roles.
CEO Helena Hedblom stated that the new reporting lines are intended to accelerate the company’s growth strategy and improve operational speed. By delegating reporting responsibilities, the firm aims to maintain a sharper focus on market demands and product delivery efficiency.
