Epiroc to supply technology for ispace Moon missions

Epiroc, a global productivity and sustainability partner for the mining and infrastructure industries, has entered into a long-term collaboration agreement with ispace, a company focused on lunar resource development.

The partnership will involve Epiroc providing technology and solutions for ispace's commercial missions to the Moon. ispace aims to support human life on the Moon by offering transportation services and understanding the lunar environment and its resources.

Initially, ispace will focus on exploring the lunar surface and collecting data. The development of technology and commercial solutions for the first joint projects is planned to take place as early as 2024. The agreement includes both ispace, Inc. and its Luxembourg-based subsidiary, ispace EUROPE S.A.

This collaboration expands Epiroc's reach beyond Earth-based industries, aligning with its broader strategy to develop advanced technologies. The company has previously stated its commitment to sustainability and innovation in its core markets.
