Episurf Accelerates Property Focus, Initiates Medtech Wind-Down

Episurf Medical AB is accelerating its transformation into a pure-play property company and will wind down its medical technology operations, the company announced Tuesday. The firm will concentrate its resources and capital allocation on its Nordic property operations going forward.

The board of directors has resolved to initiate an orderly wind-down of the operational medical technology business as part of this strategic shift. Episurf Medical assessed that a sale or spin-off of the medtech business in its current form would require a lengthy process and substantial resources.

This move signifies a decisive step in Episurf's previously communicated dual-track process, aiming to streamline operations and focus exclusively on the property sector.
