Energy provider eprimo has acquired a 30% stake in a new solar park located in Holzheim, Bavaria. The solar facility officially commenced operations in June 2025 and is projected to feed approximately 3,000 megawatt-hours (MWh) of green electricity into the public grid each year. This output is sufficient to supply around 1,200 two-person households with climate-friendly energy annually.

eprimo's ownership corresponds to 30% of Solarpark Holzheim GmbH & Co. KG, with the remaining 70% held by renervest immobilien GmbH, part of the RenerVest Group. eprimo has previously completed two other solar energy projects in collaboration with this partner. The new solar park, boasting a total installed capacity of approximately 2.85 megawatt-peak (MWp), is expected to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by roughly 900 tons per year.

"Our stated goal is to increase the production of green electricity with a significant expansion effect," said Katja Steger, CEO of eprimo. "We are pleased to have successfully realized another PV project in Holzheim, thanks to our customers and our reliable partnership with the RenerVest Group."

eprimo financed its share through the "eprimo ZukunftsCent" initiative, established in 2021. Through this program, the company invests 0.3 cents per kilowatt-hour consumed by customers opting for green electricity tariffs, supporting the development of renewable energy installations.
