EQL Pharma's Mellozzan Gains Sales Approval in Kazakhstan
EQL Pharma's product Mellozzan®, a melatonin-based medication, has secured sales approval in Kazakhstan through regional partner Abdi Ibrahim. The initial approval covers the 3 mg strength.
EQL Pharma announced that its key product, Mellozzan® (melatonin tablets), has received approval for sale in Kazakhstan. The marketing authorisation was obtained by EQL's regional partner, Abdi Ibrahim.
The current approval is for the 3 mg strength. The marketing authorisation for the 5 mg strength is anticipated in December 2026. The launch of both strengths is planned for the fiscal year 2027/28.
Mellozzan® contains melatonin, the body's sleep hormone, and is indicated for children with ADHD experiencing sleep difficulties, where conventional sleep hygiene measures have proven insufficient.
