EQT Acquires Osmose Utilities Services
Private equity firm EQT Infrastructure has acquired Osmose Utilities Services, Inc., a U.S. provider of critical inspection, maintenance, and restoration services for utility and telecom infrastructure.
EQT Infrastructure has completed the acquisition of Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Osmose provides inspection, maintenance, and restoration services for wood and steel infrastructure critical to utility and telecommunications networks.
Founded in 1934, Osmose serves the U.S. market, focusing on enhancing infrastructure reliability and risk reduction for its clients. The company reports an average relationship of 40 years with its top 50 customers, underscoring the long-term nature of its services.
EQT stated its intention to support Osmose's growth through leveraging its sector expertise in utility and telecom end markets. The investment firm plans to accelerate service expansion, enhance data analytics capabilities, and scale Osmose's workforce.
Osmose will maintain its headquarters in Peachtree City, Georgia, with CEO Ron Childress and the existing management team continuing to lead the company. Osmose employs over 3,200 people across the United States.
