EQT exits remaining stake in TELUS Digital via parent company acquisition
Private equity firm EQT Group is selling its final stake in TELUS Digital as part of parent company TELUS Corporation's proposed acquisition. The deal marks the end of EQT's seven-year investment in the company.

Private equity firm EQT Group has agreed to sell its remaining stake in TELUS Digital. The sale is part of parent company TELUS Corporation's proposed acquisition, which will fully integrate the digital services provider into its parent entity. EQT stated that this transaction concludes its successful investment period, which began in 2016.
TELUS Digital operates globally, offering artificial intelligence-driven customer experience solutions and digital services. During EQT's investment, the company transformed from a traditional outsourcing business into a global player serving clients in sectors including technology, telecommunications, and healthcare. The company reportedly saw significant growth in revenue and employee numbers during the investment period.
EQT's support focused on enabling strategic acquisitions and fostering organic growth for TELUS Digital. The company completed several notable acquisitions, expanding its service offerings and technological capabilities. EQT estimates it achieved approximately a fourfold return on its investment through phased divestments, including during the company's initial public offering in 2021.
The sale of the remaining stake is valued at USD 215 million. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to customary closing conditions. EQT believes that the full integration of TELUS Digital into TELUS Corporation will accelerate its innovation and support its future development.
