EQT Future Fund Closes at EUR 3 Billion
EQT Group's EQT Future fund has completed its final close, raising EUR 3 billion. This brings the EQT Private Equity platform's total fundraisings in 2024 to over EUR 25 billion.

EQT Group announced that its EQT Future fund has held its final close, securing EUR 3 billion in total commitments. Including co-investments, the total fee-generating commitments for the strategy reach EUR 3.6 billion.
The EQT Future fund focuses on two thematic areas: Climate & Nature and Health & Wellbeing. The strategy aims for longer holding periods, utilizing EQT's active ownership approach and tailored impact measurement tools. The fund is classified under Article 9 and links carried interest to sustainability targets.
Investors in the fund include institutions and private wealth, such as family offices, from across the Americas, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, and the Nordics. This diversified investor base represents a segment that has shown increasing interest in impact-focused strategies.
This closing brings the EQT Private Equity platform's total commitments in 2024 to over EUR 25 billion, following the EUR 22 billion close of EQT X. EQT Future is currently invested in three companies, Anticimex, Bloom Fresh International, and SHL Medical, representing approximately 40-45% of its capital.
