EQT Group has reported a 5% increase in total revenue for the first half of 2026, reaching €1,407 million compared to €1,340 million in the same period last year. The private markets firm also saw its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rise to €837 million, up from €806 million.

The company emphasized its performance amidst a volatile market, successfully executing primary deals and advancing its value creation strategies. EQT returned close to €17 billion to its fund and co-investors, building on a record year of exits in 2025. Fundraising efforts remain strong, with over 20 funds currently in the market and significant interest from investors.

Strategically, EQT signed an agreement in January 2026 to acquire Coller Capital, a global secondaries firm, which is on track for a Q3 closing. The firm also launched an AI Infrastructure strategy that quickly amassed over $9 billion in net asset value. EQT's evergreen platform reached €10 billion in net asset value, boosted by the inclusion of Coller Capital's assets upon transaction closing.

EQT has expanded its client offering by launching several new strategies, including the AI Infrastructure fund and the Scaleup Europe Fund, selected by the European Commission. The company is actively fundraising for more than 20 funds and anticipates further market share gains in a challenging economic environment. CEO and Managing Partner Per Franzén stated that EQT is well-positioned to deliver for its clients and capitalize on market opportunities.
