EQT Growth leads €250 million investment in Vinted

Private equity firm EQT Growth has led a €250 million Series F funding round in Vinted, a prominent C2C platform focused on second-hand fashion across Europe.
Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, Vinted operates in over 10 markets and has secured over 45 million members globally. The company has experienced significant growth since 2016, driven by its established business model.
The market for second-hand fashion is benefiting from increasing consumer focus on sustainability and circular economy principles. EQT Growth plans to support Vinted's growth by investing in its platform and technology, aiming to solidify its leading position in core markets and enable further international expansion.
EQT Growth will also leverage its digital expertise and advisor network to enhance Vinted's customer-centric experience. Following the investment, Carolina Brochado, Partner at EQT Growth, will join Vinted's board of directors. The transaction is expected to close in May 2021.
