The strategy is designed to leverage the significant growth potential in Asia, which accounts for a substantial portion of the global population and economic expansion. Despite this, the region receives a comparatively small fraction of global private equity allocations, indicating potential for attractive investment opportunities, particularly in the expanding buyout market.
EQT stated that its long-standing presence and experience in Asia, coupled with a dedicated team of over 150 investment professionals located in the region, positions the firm to capitalize on these structural growth trends. The firm highlighted its 30-year track record of investing in Asia.
