EQT to Acquire Copia Power to Expand Data Center Infrastructure

Private equity firm EQT has reached an agreement to acquire Copia Power, a company that develops, owns, and operates large-scale integrated energy and digital infrastructure campuses across the United States.

Copia Power collaborates with utility companies to increase power capacity, accelerate infrastructure development, and support grid reliability and affordability for ratepayers.

The acquisition is thematic, supporting the build-out of U.S. AI infrastructure, where access to scalable and reliable power has become a critical enabler for continued data center development.

EQT intends to partner with Copia Power's management team to scale the company's operations and facilitate its growth.
