EQT X targets EUR 20 billion fund size
Investment firm EQT has set a target fund size of EUR 20 billion for its upcoming EQT X fund. The fund's investment strategy is expected to align closely with its predecessor, EQT IX.

Swedish investment firm EQT has announced a target size of EUR 20 billion for its forthcoming EQT X fund. The final size of the fund will depend on the outcome of the fundraising process.
EQT X's investment strategy and commercial terms are expected to be materially in line with its predecessor, EQT IX. This aligns with EQT's typical fund generation cycles, where successor funds commence investment activities as previous funds near full deployment.
The company typically sees the commitment period for a predecessor fund conclude when approximately 80 to 90 percent of its total commitments are invested. Remaining capital is then allocated for add-on acquisitions, strategic capital injections, and ongoing expenses.
EQT is a global investment organization focused on active ownership strategies, managing over EUR 70 billion in assets across 27 funds.
