Energy and services company Equans announced on May 22, 2026, the completion of the sale of Equans Infra & Mobility (I&M), the entity managing its electric vehicle charging concessions in the Netherlands. The transaction, finalized on May 18, 2026, is in line with Equans' strategy presented in February 2023, which includes divesting asset-based activities.

The buyer of I&M is an entity controlled by DigitalBridge and Aberdeen Investments. The new owners intend to continue securing funding to accelerate the business's growth in a rapidly evolving market. Equans stated it will retain its expertise in the installation and maintenance of EV charging stations for its business-to-business clients.

Equans, a subsidiary of the Bouygues group, operates in the Netherlands with revenues exceeding €1.4 billion in 2025. The company focuses on supporting corporations and local authorities in achieving their decarbonization objectives through energy and digital services. This divestment allows Equans to concentrate on its core business in the Dutch market.
