Equifax Revenue Grows 11% in Q2, Agrees to Acquire Mexico's Círculo de Crédito

Equifax reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $1.700 billion, an 11% increase year-over-year on a reported basis and 10% in local currency. The company also announced a definitive agreement to acquire Círculo de Crédito, a Mexican credit bureau, for an enterprise value of $750 million.
The growth was driven by strong performance in its U.S. mortgage business, which saw revenue increase by 25%. The Workforce Solutions division reported a 7% revenue increase, while U.S. Information Services (USIS) revenue grew by 17%. Equifax's new products leveraging its EFX Cloud, EFX.AI, and proprietary data achieved a vitality index of 16%.
Equifax is doubling its target for AI-driven cost reductions to $150 million for the 2026-2028 period. The company returned $366 million in cash to shareholders through share repurchases and dividends.
The acquisition of Círculo de Crédito is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026 and aims to bolster Equifax's position in Mexico. The company has been focused on transforming its operations and utilizing artificial intelligence to enhance performance and efficiency.
