Ership receives Konecranes' highest-performing bulk handling mobile harbor crane

Spanish maritime transport company Ership received a Konecranes Gottwald ESP.9B mobile harbor crane with hybrid drive for its terminal in Gijón, northern Spain, in September 2023. Konecranes states this is their highest-performing bulk handling mobile harbor crane, offering the highest handling rates on the market.

Ership has invested in four Konecranes Gottwald mobile harbor cranes over the past two years to expand its bulk operations across its Spanish terminals. The company has utilized Konecranes cranes for over 25 years and currently operates more than 20 in its fleet.

Ership CEO Gonzalo Alvargonzález cited an urgent need for a new crane in Gijón to support growing demand, noting Konecranes' ability to deliver the ESP.9B model in a short timeframe. This has reinforced Ership's long-standing trust in Konecranes equipment.

Alfredo Canibano Ramos, Senior Sales Manager Spain for Port Solutions at Konecranes, highlighted the strong relationship between the companies and Ership's confidence in Konecranes' quality. He stated that Ership's choice of the highest-performing model on the market further solidifies this trust.
