EssilorLuxottica begins search for new CEO
EssilorLuxottica has initiated a formal search process for a new CEO, engaging two international executive search firms to assist in the recruitment.
EssilorLuxottica’s Nomination and Compensation Committee has launched a search for a future Chief Executive Officer. The company has retained executive search firms Russell Reynolds Associates and Eric Salmon & Partners to identify candidates for the role.
The search is being conducted in accordance with agreements established during the merger between Essilor and Luxottica. The company aims to appoint a new CEO by the end of 2020. The selected candidate will initially serve in the role of “Directeur Général Délégué,” tasked with coordinating operations and overseeing the integration of the two organizations.
Final selection will involve the board of directors and the company’s executive leadership. During this transition, both Essilor and Luxottica will continue to operate as separate legal entities under their existing management structures.
