EssilorLuxottica released its 2025 gender equality and representation indices on February 27, 2026. The report highlights the company's ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion.

In France, Essilor International, a part of EssilorLuxottica, achieved a Gender Equality Index score of 99 out of 100. This marks the third consecutive year the company has attained this high score. French law requires companies with over 50 employees to calculate and publish their gender equality score annually by March 1st, based on specific indicators.

The company attributes this achievement to its concrete initiatives aimed at promoting equality between men and women regarding careers, remuneration, and work-life balance. EssilorLuxottica's policy on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is built on four pillars: fostering awareness and a culture of inclusion, developing inclusive processes, setting data-driven goals, and ensuring diversity of thought through internal ambassadors and networks.

Globally, the representation of women within the group has also increased. For the full year 2025, women constituted 60% of the overall staff worldwide. Women represented 33% of management bodies and 35% of senior executives. These figures align with French regulations, such as the Rixain law, which seeks to increase women's access to high-responsibility positions.

EssilorLuxottica continues to integrate gender equality and diversity as key components of its corporate culture and operational strategy.
