EssilorLuxottica has released its 2026 Gender Equality Index for Essilor International in France, demonstrating sustained performance with a score of 99 out of 100. This marks the third consecutive year the company has achieved this high score, reflecting its ongoing commitment to workplace equity.

Since 2018, French law mandates companies with over 50 employees to calculate and publish their gender equality score annually by March 1. EssilorLuxottica's consistent results highlight its efforts in promoting equality between men and women regarding career progression, remuneration, and work-life balance.

The Group's global representation of women is also seeing an upward trend. For the full year 2025, women constitute 60% of the overall global workforce. Within management bodies, women represent 33%, and in senior executive positions, the figure stands at 35%. These metrics align with the implementation of France's Rixain law, aimed at increasing women's access to high-responsibility roles.

EssilorLuxottica's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategy is built on four key pillars: fostering an inclusive culture through awareness campaigns, developing more inclusive processes, setting data-driven goals, and ensuring diversity of thought via internal ambassadors and regional networks.
