EssilorLuxottica to delist GrandVision from stock exchange in January
EssilorLuxottica plans to delist the optical retail chain GrandVision from the stock exchange on January 10, 2022. The company has acquired more than 95% of GrandVision shares.

EssilorLuxottica announced in December 2021 its intention to delist the optical retail chain GrandVision from Euronext Amsterdam effective January 10, 2022. The last trading day for GrandVision shares will be January 7, 2022.
The eyewear giant EssilorLuxottica has secured over 95 percent of GrandVision's shares, paving the way for the delisting. The company will also soon initiate statutory buy-out proceedings to achieve 100% ownership.
The post-acceptance period for tendering shares concluded on December 20, 2021. EssilorLuxottica committed to purchasing all shares tendered during this period at the offer price.
EssilorLuxottica acquired a majority stake in GrandVision in 2019, a move anticipated to consolidate its market position within the eyewear industry.
